From keypads to touch screens that’s how this period can be spanned in simple words, but the technology hasn’t stopped only till display but instead seeped in to all the corners and revolutionalized the theme.
The type of phones that attracted the crowds are the slide and flip phones, the design wasunique and trendy for quite some time, before touch screens took over. Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, Apple, Sony and LG these companies can be said as the pillars of this age where most of innovative hybrids came in through these brands.
Nokia created an evolutional barrage with its wide range of phones like the Nokia 1100, the horcrux of the decade and phone series like N-series, E-series and others in line. Motorola had the RAZR and the companies flip phones were another high. Sony’s walkman series is another renowned addition and Samsung’s introduction of AMOLED display cannot be left behind. Now comes the elephant in the room, iPhone the first phone to have an OS (touch) and the series is still continuing and as you know it is very much in demand.
Cameras, once were just another device to take pictures but from as the time passedphones with cameras came in where people were so obsessed with the concept to the level where because of these original camera sales have gone down.
